During the Autumn Term, Year 5 pupils were involved in an exciting Art project learning how to master the skill of silk painting. The children took inspiration from images of famous paintings from the Fitzwilliam Museum as well as a variety of real life leaves.
After carefully drawing the outline in pencil, they used a ‘Magic Pen’ to create a glue outline.
Finally, they mixed colours to paint the design on silk.
