History
In history, we place importance on understanding the way Britain has been shaped by its rich and complex history, looking at how it has influenced, and been influenced by, the wider world. Through our enquiry based themes, pupils will be encouraged to enquire about the past and begin to make their own judgements, by developing critical historical skills alongside gaining a better understanding of the chronology of British history and the individuals that have shaped it. At least one unit of work each term will be history based.
