Geography club
Year 5 and 6 pupils have enjoyed Geography Club this term. They have explored different biomes using Geographical vocabulary such as savannah, tundra, temperate and tropical. They have used maps of the world, atlases and mini-globes to answer questions in teams, discussing different points of views before deciding on their final group answer. The children have enjoyed using drama to create freeze frames of famous landmarks or physical and human features found around the world as well as creating actions for new vocabulary we learn each week.
