"The school promotes British values and prepares pupils effectively for life in modern Britain. Values such as tolerance and respect are fundamental to the life of the school, and are promoted not only in assemblies but also through philosophy and personal, social and health education lessons." OFSTED 2015
King’s Hedges is an integral part of a diverse community. We encourage open communication between school and home through monthly newsletters, termly governor newsletters and always encourage parents to meet with staff to support their children.
We have strong links with support groups for families, including The Red Hen Project and ‘Hey! Cambridge’, as well as other local community places such as The Good Shepherd Church. The School Council regularly organises charity events to support many local projects which have included the Foodbank and Jimmy’s Night Shelter.
"The school works very closely with other agencies and provides outstanding support for pupils whose circumstances make them vulnerable." OFSTED 2015
