Visit to Anglia Ruskin University

We went to A.R.U. on Wednesday 02/12/15. We had a really interesting day, starting with a tour of the massive university campus. Followed some interactive 'lessons' with some university students. Our children were overawed by the size of the lecture theatres, and some were lucky enough to be invited into a lecture.

During our visit the children had an opportunity to find out more about universities and to make them consider going to University later in life.

This was the response from the person co-ordinating the visit at Anglia Ruskin:

‘It was great to work with such an engaged group of students, they are a real credit to your school. I have attached below a summary of the feedback that we captured at the start (in blue) and end of the day (in orange). As you can see the pupils improved on all of the metrics, with some having a very high baseline to start with’.

We are very pleased to hear that our pupils had such a positive and worthwhile visit.
