The school completed some fantastic activities inspired by World Book Day: reading rivers, character creations and scrapbooks of the books featured in our reading challenge!

Following the grand celebrations at school, Home Learning gave us opportunity to delve further into the life of Queen Elizabeth II.

Reading Challenge

 Alongside other CB4 schools, King’s Hedges launched a book challenge in March which has proved very popular with pupils. See below for some of the titles and quotes from the children. They were also asked to complete a reading bingo challenge – how many have you managed to complete?

June 29^th, Cambridgeshire Library Services also visited the school to launch the library’s summer reading challenge. To maintain pupil progress over the summer, we are also inviting pupils to take AR quizzes on the books that they read. Let’s see which class will be champions!
