We are taking part in a working memory study with researchers from the University of Cambridge. It has been found that working memory is very important as it is closely associated with the ability to learn and academic achievement.
Working memory can be improved through training. There is evidence that these gains are associated with greater progress at school.
Children from Years 1-6 have been chosen to take part in the study and are completing an initial assessment and then regular training which aims to improve their working memory.
